Sunshine, Stand-Up and Solar Panels

Leadenham Village Hall was the place for laughs on Saturday 21st June as the village welcomed a brilliant lineup of comedians for the 2025 Leadenham Comedy Night.

Headlining the night was the charismatic Richard Morton, whose sharp musical comedy had the audience thoroughly entertained. He was joined by a superb supporting cast: quick-witted MC Paul Mutagejja kept the evening flowing, Chris Norton Walker delivered punchy stand-up, Ian Crawford offered his uniquely deadpan delivery, and Alex Cahill wowed with an energetic blend of comedy and magic.

Although attendance was lower than usual, perhaps in part due to the scorching summer weather tempting people with beer and BBQs, however, the smaller crowd created a relaxed, intimate vibe with the comedians giving it their all, with plenty of good banter and audience interaction.

Highlights included hilarious improvised magic tricks and some enthusiastic back and forth with the crowd around the proposed Leoda Solar Development.
