Fishy Panto Fun
Leadenham Village Hall was filled with laughter and applause as the Leadenham Players wrapped up a successful run of The Little Mermaid pantomime.
The much loved amateur dramatics group delivered a lively, family friendly production packed with colourful characters, imaginative handmade sets and plenty of traditional panto humour. A cast ranging from age seven upwards brought the story to life, supported by a talented backstage team and the Players’ now trademark use of digital backdrops.
Based on Hans Christian Andersen’s classic tale but with a few playful twists, including a Dame with a difference and a heroine who keeps her voice but cannot sing, the show proved a hit with audiences across all performances.
